Chemical Process and Other Manufacturing Plants

Franklin Engineering designs new processes and troubleshoots existing manufacturing processes for the chemical, consumer goods, explosives/munitions, building materials, waste disposal, and waste recycling/recovery industries. We configure production processes using standard (off-the-shelf) components and/or custom designed machines. We use client-identified performance specifications or work with the client to define the performance requirements and operational (i.e., labor, utilities) limitations.

We work closely with our clients to increase throughput and solve problems with specialty machine designs. We work from client-provided functional specifications or work with clients to define functional requirements. Depending on complexity, the machine design may be an evolutionary process involving prototyping and testing to ensure success. Our capabilities include fabrication of prototypes through final machine design, installation, and start-up.

We excel at smaller projects, less than $10 million of total capital. Our highly experienced staff allows a single individual to serve in several project roles, i.e. project manager, project engineer, lead engineer, etc. This multitasking approach typically results in lower engineering labor cost and improves communication on smaller projects.
